About Allada...
Allada is a city between Dédomè and Abomey, and is the former capital of the Kingdom of Allada. Allada is the spiritual home of the Fon people, especially the royal lineage of the Dahomean Kingdom. Key Vodun practices trace their origins to Allada, and they remained influential until the 18th century.
